The Bergenfield Fire Training Center offers a wide variety of hands-on firefighter training by our state certified instructors. Fire departments who rent our facility can customize training to suit their department’s needs. Many different scenarios are offered and can be discussed with the instructor staff. Currently, the center has the capabilities for the following training:
- Class A Live Fire Attack
- Hoseline Advancement Techniques
- Rappelling Station with two tie off points
- Search and Rescue
- Forcible Entry
- Peaked and Flat Roof Ventilation
- Standpipe & Sprinkler Operations
- Building Laddering
Additionally the center has been rented to police departments to conduct building entry techniques, searching for barricaded suspects, and other various police training.
